"The Lobby in the young Belgian hotel is a perfect scene for Lace Fence. The white space deviders seperate the lobby from the terrace and the lounge area in a fresh, open way."

Problem

The hotel lobby needed to define different zones (reception, lounge, outdoor terrace) without building solid walls that could make the space feel cramped. The designers wanted a solution that provided a sense of separation while keeping sightlines open and preserving the lobby’s brightness and flow. In short, they required a semi-transparent partition that is secure and stylish.

Solution

Redfort provided floor-to-ceiling Lalace panels as space dividers. These white metal mesh screens stand as modern lace “walls” that delineate the lobby areas. They ensure people can intuitively see the boundaries of each zone (lounge vs. pathway to terrace, etc.) while still allowing light and conversation to pass through. The decorative pattern adds an element of art to the lobby, complementing the hotel’s contemporary interior design.

Product

The implemented product consists of custom white Lalace panels installed in the lobby. They serve as both railings and partitions between the interior and the adjacent terrace. The pattern is delicate yet the steel construction is sturdy, ensuring durability in a high-traffic hospitality environment. The result is a lobby that feels open and welcoming; the Lace Fence dividers create a visually interesting backdrop that also guides guests seamlessly through the space. This project highlights Redfort’s ability to enhance interiors with functional art pieces.
