Apartment facades often lack visual depth and character, resulting in a generic appearance. Safety and functional requirements frequently dominate over aesthetic consideration. The building misses the chance to project identity or engage its surroundings. Without design investment, the facade may look flat and uninspiring.
By using Lalace as a facade screen, the building gains a distinctive ornamental layer. The ivy pattern adds vertical rhythm, shadow play and a sense of natural growth. While meeting security needs, the mesh enriches the building’s presence, making the facade more dynamic and resonant. It turns the building’s envelope into a narrative surface.
Lalace is a woven mesh facade system customizable in motif, density, scale and curvature. It combines transparency, strength and decorative potential in one. In this project it is applied as a protective and expressive screen, wrapping the facade with an ivy motif that balances performance and identity.
