Challenge

Heritage motifs are often treated as flat decoration. They rarely make the step into architecture, which means their cultural value is not always felt in the spaces where people gather.

Solution

With Lalace the pattern is no longer just surface. It wraps around walls and screens, creating depth through light and shadow. This makes the pavilion a space that feels both authentic and contemporary.

Product

Lalace is a flexible woven mesh system that can be designed with custom patterns and shapes. In this project it was used as a patterned skin that gives structure, atmosphere, and identity in one.
