Museum facades often need to balance openness with control, letting daylight in while providing privacy or protection. Conventional screens tend to be heavy or opaque, reducing connection with the surroundings. When design becomes secondary, the building risks losing the impact it could have as a public landmark.
By using Lalace the facade gains a fine, patterned veil that filters light and frames views while maintaining separation. The mesh grants subtle transparency and sculptural depth, letting the building breathe visually. At the same time it protects the interior and highlights the museum’s identity.
