The façade is designed for an office building that reduces the amount of direct sunlight into the work place by 35% and also offers privacy to functions. Different densities in the diamond pattern create a dynamic image within the framework of the glass facade.

Office facades often struggle to manage daylight: too much sun leads to glare and heat, too much screening reduces openness. Traditional shading elements can feel heavy or monotonous, disrupting the visual rhythm of the building. Moreover, balancing privacy with transparency is a difficult task in glazed office façades.
Dedots allows us to modulate light, privacy and texture through patterning. The diamond mesh varies in density so that more opaque portions provide shading and privacy, while lighter portions maintain view and connection. This graded approach makes the façade feel alive and responsive. The screen sits elegantly within the glass frame, offering performance without compromising design.
Dedots is a modular dot-panel mesh system in which colored 3D dots are mounted to a supporting mesh panel. It is customizable in pattern, density, scale and mounting approach. The system is engineered to be durable, weather resistant, and suitable for large facades. In this project it was applied as a diamond-pattern façade screen to deliver both solar control and architectural expressiveness in one integrated system.
